A recent Cum Laude graduate from UMass Amherst with a B.A. in Theater and Portuguese, Catarina received the Community Award from the Department of Theater her senior year for her dedication to the arts. She also recently participated in the renowned British American Drama Academy: Midsummer in Oxford program in Oxford, England where she worked with some of the leading actors in England working on her craft. She has a passion for Shakespeare, Ensemble-Driven works, and Musical Theater.
Growing up in Newton, MA – she was heavily involved in Newton South Stage at Newton South HS. Having a passion for both on and offstage, she worked on 22 shows throughout her high school career and received the Theater Award her senior year.
She is also a proud Alum of Weston Drama Workshop where she was in Pippin, Billy Elliot the Musical, The Curious Incident of the Dog and the Nighttime, and Legally Blonde the Musical.
